For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, Urology Partnership Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

7. The member directory
A core function of the UTI Institute is a publicly accessible directory of accredited clinics. By being accredited, a member clinic agrees that its name, location, logo and stated contact details may be published in that directory and on our website. Individual clinicians named in connection with a member clinic may also be listed. Members can ask us to update or, on ceasing membership, remove their listing.
8. Who we share data with
We may share personal data with:
- our employees, faculty assessors and professional advisers, where necessary;
- service providers acting on our behalf (for example website hosting, IT, payment processing, email and CRM platforms), under contracts that require them to protect your data;
- professional or regulatory bodies where relevant to verifying an accreditation;
- authorities or third parties where we are required to do so by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
9. International data transfers
The UTI Institute operates a global network, and some of the organisations we deal with, and some of our service providers, are based outside the United Kingdom. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we will ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as a transfer to a country covered by UK adequacy regulations, or the use of the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards we apply.
10. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law. In general:
- enquiry correspondence is kept for a limited period after the matter is closed;
- accreditation, membership and financial records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for a period afterwards to meet legal, tax and regulatory requirements;
- marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Even after deletion, data may persist briefly on backups before being overwritten.
